Every family, in their own language.

Write once in the nursery's language. Each family reads news, calendar and menus in theirs without having to ask, and translates direct messages with one tap.

Why it matters in a nursery

Many classrooms have families who do not share a language with the team. When information does not get through, misunderstandings do: an outing without rain boots, an unsigned authorisation, an absence nobody reported. Translating by hand is not viable; not translating leaves families out.

How Niu does it

Translation built into the content, not an app in eleven languages:

  • No request needed: news, calendar and menus already arrive in each family's language. Direct messages translate with one tap, and there the original is always one tap away.

  • Both ways: a family's reply reaches the team in the nursery's language.

  • Eleven languages: Catalan, Spanish, English, French, Arabic (right-to-left), Chinese, Romanian, Portuguese, Ukrainian, German and Italian.

  • A multilingual spell checker built into the nursery's editor, so the original goes out without typos.

Interface and content are two different things

The family app and website speak Catalan, Spanish, English, Arabic and Ukrainian. Translation of content and messages covers all eleven languages. The director picks the nursery's default language and the active languages from their account.

Included in every plan

Automatic translation uses the nursery's AI quota, and each plan includes a different monthly amount (Llavor, Brot and Arrel, from least to most). The editor warns you as you approach the limit; you can top up the quota or move up a plan whenever you like.

It is automatic and works as a starting point. The team reviews it in the editor before publishing and can correct it by hand; in direct messages, families always have the original one tap away.

Catalan, Spanish and English come by default. From the nursery's account you can enable up to eight more: French, Arabic, Chinese, Romanian, Portuguese, Ukrainian, German and Italian.

Yes. Family messaging (Brot plan or higher) is translated both ways: the family reads the nursery's message in their language and their reply reaches the team in the nursery's language.
