A group is fine for a heads-up; it cannot run a nursery.
Keep families apart: in a group everyone sees everyone else's phone number and replies.
Protect children's photos: they travel through personal phones and can be forwarded without control.
Know who has read it: a group “seen” says nothing about the one family you need an answer from.
