The daily report educators fill in seconds.
Daily reports, absences, authorisations and photos in one app. The nursery records it once; every family gets it on their phone right away, in their own language.

What a digital diary for nurseries is
It replaces the notebook that travels back and forth in the backpack: the daily record of each child (meals, sleep, mood, activities, nappies) that the nursery fills in and the family reads on their phone. In Niu we call it the daily report, and it is the heart of the app: a fresh grid is created every day for every child, and an educator gets through it in seconds.

How the daily report works in Niu
Built for a real classroom, where there is no time to type.
Meals with four levels (all, most, a little, none), sleep by morning, midday and afternoon slots, mood, activities and nappies.
Bulk editing: tick the children who did the same thing, fill them all at once, then adjust the exceptions.
“Publish and next”: go through the whole group without returning to the list, keeping your classroom filter.
The family gets a notification when you publish their child's report and can add a note about the day (Brot plan or higher).
More than the daily report
Niu's digital diary brings together everything that used to live on paper or in a chat group:
Absences and late arrivals: the family reports them with one tap, with a reason and an attached note; the classroom sees it instantly and it stays in the child's history.
Digital authorisations: outings, medication and permissions with a yes/no answer, extra fields, a deadline and a handwritten signature on the phone (Brot plan or higher).
Per-classroom galleries visible only to authorised families, the canteen menu with diets per group and the weekly timetable.
Attendance by time slot, exported to Excel whenever you need it.
Free for families, no lock-in for the nursery
The app is free for every family (iOS, Android, and a web portal for those without a smartphone). The nursery picks a plan from €49.95 a month based on the number of children, with a 14-day trial, no card and no lock-in. Data is hosted in Spain (EU) and every nursery is isolated with role-based access.

Frequently asked questions
Seconds per child. Fields are selectors, not free text, and bulk editing fills the whole group at once when they did the same thing. Then everything is published with a single button.
Yes. Besides the report the nursery fills in, the family can add a note about the day from the app or the portal (for example, “grandma picks him up today”), and the team gets an alert. This requires the Brot plan or higher.
Once published, the report is locked because the family may already have read it. If something is wrong, you tell the family through messaging or a note, so there are never two versions of the same day.
For families, yes: the app and the web portal are free for every family, on iOS and Android. The nursery is the one that pays: it picks a plan, tries it for 14 days with no card and has no lock-in.
